VIDi 2 & VIDi 4
(encoders & decoders)

The VIDi2 is an MPEG-2 encoder blade which encodes DVD quality video and stereo audio. Combined with the VIDi2d decoder with IR handheld remote control the user can select which encoder (channel) to play on the display. The VIDi4 is an MPEG-4 encoder blade. The VIDi4 works in conjuction with the VIDi4d decoder to play content directly onto a display. With the VIDi group of products MediaPOINTE offers high quality streaming at low bandwidth.

The VIDi2 and VIDi4 encoder blades can be placed in a two or seventeen slot chassis for centrallized control of content and live streams.
